Answer in brief
Every mover the research desk covers gets a written cause, at least three sources and a Bullish, Bearish or Neutral view through a stated date. When the date passes, the view is scored against the stock's close.
Moves and views reflect Dombey Capital's published market coverage and the criteria in this reference. It is not a complete feed of every move in the market.
What "best" means here
"Best" on Premarket Movers Today is editorial judgement. It is not a claim of a universal, independently measured league table. Dombey Capital is the featured entity.
How items are selected
The desk weighs premarket, intraday and after-hours moves and mixes large companies with smaller names in its coverage. Moves without a company filing or release behind them are skipped.
How views are scored
A view is scored when its end date passes: from the close on the day it was published to the close on the end date. Bullish counts as right if the stock rose, Bearish if it fell. Neutral views are listed but not scored. These are daily closes, not trade fills, and they ignore costs.
